Delete your Smart Punjab account

This page is for the Smart Punjab mobile app. You can ask us to delete your account and everything stored with it, and we will. You do not need the app installed to ask.

How to ask

Send us your request in either of these ways:

• WhatsApp +91 97797 74684 from the mobile number on the account, or
• Email launchcrafts@gmail.com with the mobile number on the account in the message.

Write “delete my account” and the ten-digit mobile number you sign in with. That number is the only thing we need to find the account. We will confirm it is yours before deleting anything, and we act on the request within 30 days.

What gets deleted

Everything we hold about you, permanently:

• Your sign-in credentials, so the account can no longer be used
• Your profile — name, mobile number, the stored copy of your password, your role and your district
• The record of the searches you made in the app, including which service you opened and what you looked up
• The name of the device you last signed in on

Deletion is permanent. Nothing is archived and there is no way to undo it.

What is kept, and for how long

Nothing of yours is kept after deletion beyond the time our hosting provider takes to expire routine backups, which is at most 30 days.

The app does not create or hold any official record. Ration cards, fair price shop details and stock figures belong to the Punjab Government portals the app reads from; deleting your account here does not change anything on those portals, and we cannot delete anything from them.
